The impact of imprisonment on a family is long lasting and far reaching.

The Visitor Centre at HMP Shotts is here to provide support, information & advice to families that have been impacted by imprisonment of a loved one. Visitor Centre Staff have a range of organisations that we work alongside to support the families that have a loved one in prison.

We recognise the anxieties and worries associated with visiting your loved one in prison, and we aim to provide confidential support in a warm and welcoming environment.
