Our Climate Commitments
Climate change refers to long-term shifts in weather patterns and average temperatures, largely caused by human action. The impacts of rising temperatures have already been felt across the world and, if we do not act, the consequences of further increases could be catastrophic.
Climate change is the most pressing matter of our time. The climate crisis poses an existential threat, and GBT accept that we must take effective and meaningful action in the coming years to support change and prevent its potentially devastating impact.
Charities should champion climate action. Our communities often look to charities for support and guidance. GBT needs to effectively lead by example, showing others in our communities how to engage in climate action and protect our planets future.
